I feel that this picture is way to colored in variations and it washes out the picture. I like the plant in the middle of the rocks but this picture doesn’t convey exactly what I wanted it to. I could’ve done better with this.

This flyer was done for Jessica Secan for the dance show at CDO. I like the format and the borders that I created. i like that the only one thing is in color and the rest is in black and white because now there is a focal point for the picture instead of it all just being blended together.

I really enjoy this picture even though it is simple. The purple and brown colors compliment each other well.

This photograph gives off a “fall” feeling, I like the colors against the blue background and the focus of the “fuzzy balls”.

This picture is way too shadowed but I like the pattern/texture it creates. It would be a good background for something.

I like the comic fell of this picture and it just shows the basic shape of her face. She looks a little “dumb” but it makes the picture.

The focus of this picture are obviously the flowers. I like the white, green, and pink contrast. I think this is a beautiful picture, I enjoy it alot because I like flowers.

This picture was just another variation of the picture above. I just used different angles.

These 3 pictures together represent the “life of lesley”. it conveys her personality great. I like the lighting but i could have taken better pictures of her in different poses. Although, I did work with what I had.

In photo 1- I feel that the lighting isn’t that great, but there wasn’t too much I could do about it because it was overcast that day, Photoshop may have helped though… I still really do like the form that the horse and the rider have together. The dust that the horse is kicking up while he bucks gives the picture motion :]

In photo2- The rider looks like he has full control over his horse and is able to manage him bucking wild. I love his facial expression and the way his hat dips down over his face.

*The main focus in this photograph are the chairs, they make an “almost” semi circle which makes them seem like they are socializing. I really enjoy the red color of the wood on the floor that starts to fade when the light hits it, and the yellow walls. The two different types of chairs, the woven, and the plain, remind me of different generations sharing their stories with each other.

mini-fountain-copy.jpg

*I love this fountain and the straight movement of the water. The leaves in the back of it bring color to the fountain since it’s gray. The lighting is darker in the upper portion of the picture but then it evens out as you look at the picture. The red brick creates little boxes as a backdrop and it’s faded look adds expression.

childhood-reflection-copy.jpg

*This swing brings an eerie feeling to the picture, but it’s also lonely. It’s like when a child is growing up and their swing is their best friend, all they want to do is be on it. But as they get older they start leaving it until the swing is left lonely. The grass is green ,the willows are droopy, and there are many plants that are growing. This picture just shows how time goes on, i.e. the plants are growing tall and the trees are drooping.
